Green Brine Technologies is developing an integrated project designed to recover value from desalination brine and produce essential industrial chemicals for the Namibian market.
Brine Valorisation
The project focuses on recovering and utilising resources contained in desalination brine, transforming an underutilised waste stream into valuable industrial inputs.
Chlor-Alkali Production
The recovered brine will serve as the feedstock for an integrated chlor-alkali process producing essential chemicals for industrial applications.
Local Chemical Supply
The project is designed to support local access to essential chemicals used across Namibia’s mining, water-treatment and industrial sectors.
Circular Industrial Development
By connecting desalination, resource recovery and chemical production, Green Brine Technologies aims to develop a more circular and resource-efficient industrial model.
